Phone/Personal Electronics Policy - For security purposes and to promote a more focused learning environment, students will turn in their phone at the beginning of class in a numbered bag and obtain a number. The phones will be placed in a secure and locked area throughout class and will be returned at the end of the class period.
Restroom Policy - Students are not allowed to leave the first and last fifteen minutes of class. Each student receives two passes for the six weeks for the restroom. The student must present one of these passes and have their ID. Any unused restroom passes can be turned in for extra points towards their grade. Food Policy - Food and drinks need to be kept in the student's bag during class. Water is allowed. Homework Policy - Due to the pacing of the curriculum, students must submit the homework on the due date at the beginning of class to receive a grade. Unless a student is absent the day a homework was assigned or the day it is due, late homework will not be accepted. Make-up Policy - Students are able to make up quizzes and classwork turned in on time for a higher grade. They will need to see the teacher in order to arrange for an alternative assignment to improve the score. |
